Ganesh Chaturti

Ganesh Chaturthi is a period where chants of ‘Ganpati Bappa Morya’ are heard at every nook of our Indian subcontinent. Ganesh God is said to bring prosperity and remove obstacles in the life of a person. Welcoming, taking good care and then bidding farewell to Lord Ganesha are the rituals done. Bidding goodbye is commonly known as ‘Visarjan’, where Ganesha is carried on a pedestal out on the streets, with rhythmic chants and immersing him in water bodies. The clay dissolves and the God is believed to reunite with his family back at Mount Kailash. This gives us an idea of how everyone has to return to our Creator and, as is so beautifully represented by this auspicious occasion, how Nature follows a cycle.

Janmashtami

Team Work always serves as the epitome of harmony, love, and passion. The 21st century demands Collaboration as one of the most important skills, for that is exactly what all of us need in order to be truly International Minded. Our Learners and Educators put together splendid performances on the pious occasion of Janmashtami. There’s always a learning curve in everything we do at SWS. Like we said in our previous post: If there is one thing that most Educational Institutions overlook or don’t talk enough about, is the fact that Education is not about teaching, it is essentially, all about mothering young minds. There is a distinct difference between teaching and educating young minds; teaching involves studies and tests, educating means mothering whole individuals, it means learning in its true sense – SWS believes in Educating Children.
